In Varanasi the Martial Art Therapy concept was started by Late Shri Janardan Mishra in late 80s .  This was never an experiment but yes a confidence . He started this therapy on the paralyzed children struggling with polio etc . The result was extremely outstanding , children not became confident of doing things better but also they got tremendous improvement in there particular problem as well such as a polio suffering kid was found to have more power, flexibility in the effected leg. Late  Shri Janardan Mishra use to conduct these free classes which provided a lot  of smiles to many .
